Terms of Service
Welcome to Loft. These terms set out how we work together when you visit our website and buy from us. We've kept them as clear as we can, but they are the formal agreement between you and us, so please take a moment to read them.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "Loft" mean Loft Motorcycle Care Limited, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 17046275), registered office 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA. "You" means the person using our website or placing an order. Our website is loftmoto.com.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
1. Using our website
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it in any way that could damage Loft or another user. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict access to all or part of the site at any time, and we won't always be able to give notice.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order with us.
2. Products
We take care to describe and picture our products accurately, but slight variations in colour, finish and packaging can occur — particularly across different screens and devices. Product images are for illustration.
We may update or discontinue products at any time. All products are subject to availability, and we may limit the quantities we sell to any customer or order.
3. Orders and the contract between us
Placing an order is an offer to buy. After you order, you'll receive an acknowledgement email confirming we've received it — but this is not acceptance of your order.
A contract between you and us is formed only when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. If we're unable to fulfil your order (for example, because an item is out of stock or there's an error in the price or description), we'll let you know and arrange a full refund of anything you've paid.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you pay.
We work hard to ensure prices are correct, but errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price of items you've ordered, we'll contact you to ask whether you wish to continue at the correct price or cancel. We don't have to accept an order at an incorrect price.
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. You confirm that the payment details you provide are valid and your own.
5. Delivery
We'll aim to deliver your order within the timeframes set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once we've received payment in full. Timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.
6. Cancellations, returns and refunds
If you change your mind, or something isn't right, our Returns & Refunds Policy explains your options and how to start a return, including your statutory right to cancel online orders. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
7. Intellectual property
All content on our website — including text, images, logos, branding, designs and the name "Loft" — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We do not exclude any rights you have under consumer law.
Please always read and follow the instructions and safety guidance provided with our products.
9. Events outside our control
We are not liable for any failure or delay in meeting our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event affects your order, we'll contact you as soon as we can and work with you to put things right.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force at the time you placed it. We'll always show the current version on our website.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
12. Contact
If you have any questions about these terms, please email us at info@loftmoto.com.
We care because you do.
